Closing date for applications: 29 June 2025Salary: £27,500 &nbsp;We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised editorial assistant who appreciates classic literature to join Pan Macmillan’s classics imprint, Macmillan Collector’s Library.&nbsp;The successful candidate will provide editorial and administrative support to the Macmillan Collector’s Library (MCL) Publisher. You will play a vital part in the editorial process and you’ll help successfully deliver our ambitious and varied publishing programme.&nbsp;This is a great role for someone with a good knowledge of and enthusiasm for classic literature in all its forms as well as being widely read in contemporary fiction. You’ll be a quick learner who thrives in a busy environment. &nbsp;Your team:Macmillan Collector’s Library (MCL) publishes beautiful books drawn from classic literature across many genres and formats. We place great value on literary heritage and our mission is to bring much-cherished books as well as new discoveries to a wide and varied readership.We’re a small, dynamic and creative team and everyone’s ideas are welcome. We work with anthologisers, editors, writers and academics to create and publish a varied range of beautifully produced books that appeal to readers of all ages. Launched in 2016, MCL has earned a significant place in the highly competitive classics publishing world and our pocket-size hardcover books are sold and recognised all over the world.&nbsp; &nbsp;Your role:&nbsp;As the Editorial Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the MCL Publisher in all aspects of the editorial process and will be responsible for the smooth running of our administrative processes.
