Expectation is an award-winning multi genre independent production company specialising in entertainment, comedy entertainment, scripted comedy, drama and factual programming. Formed in 2017 by Tim Hincks and Peter Fincham, Expectation is one of the fastest growing companies in the indie sector.
Expectation – named one of the ten most influential indies in the U.K. by Broadcast magazine – has launched shows in both scripted and non-scripted. Examples include Murder 24/7 on BBC2, The Big Narstie Show* on Channel 4 (RTS-winning, BAFTA-nominated), The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan on Channel 4 (winner of BAFTA for Best Entertainment Performance), Intelligence with David Schwimmer and Nick Mohammed on Sky 1, In My Skin on BBC3 (Best TV drama winner, Cymru BAFTAs), Alma’s Not Normal, written by and starring Sophie Willan, on BBC2, and Guilt **(RTS Scotland winner for Best Drama, Broadcast Digital Award winner for Best Drama) on BBC2.
