When you walk through our doors you follow the footsteps of modern masters such as Pablo Picasso, Frida Kahlo and Hannah Höch and pioneering contemporaries such as Zarina Bhimji, William Kentridge and Cindy Sherman, all of whom premiered at the Whitechapel Gallery.

Driven by a century-long commitment to art education, we create a participatory experience of art for local schools, communities, families and young people.
