bandstand is an exciting creative agency that prides itself on rebellious inquiry and fearless creativity to ignite change for our clients. Forever curious, we are a small independent agency based in Soho with a diverse portfolio of clients including energy, charity, retail, property, fintech and public sector.

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Client Services team for a 12-month, fixed-term contract. You will have an eye for detail, love working as part of a team and will be confident managing projects from the inception of the brief to final fulfilment and delivery.

You’ll be proactive, organised, reliable, entrepreneurial and opinionated. You make great work happen effortlessly. You’ll be positive, with a can-do attitude and understanding from both a client and creative perspective. You’ll have the ability to build solid, trusted working relationships with clients and colleagues that are built on mutual respect and your ability to add value and energy to the team when driving projects throughout the studio.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage budgets and timelines - tracking profitability throughout projects
  • Proactive, timely and consistent clear client communication
  • Day-to-day contact for all client communication
  • Relay client feedback to a Creative in a constructive manner
  • Manage projects throughout each stage of development from brief through to studio and final implementation - working with each department of the agency as required
  • Acting as the main driver of individual projects throughout the studio ensuring each project remains on schedule and meets required delivery timings
  • Maintain accurate records of meetings, decisions and next steps
  • Get stuck into the detail, ensuring all briefs are clear and required assets are available ahead of briefs commencing in the studio
  • Tracking client feedback
  • Understand agency processes and maintain responsibility for quality control
  • Brief and liaise with suppliers/partners
  • Raise invoices and POs, and financial tracking of projects.

 

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • Experience in a similar role within a creative agency
  • Ability to confidently manage both internal and client expectations
  • Experienced managing a range of projects across brand and advertising campaigns including shoot production
  • Be solution-orientated and calm under pressure
  • Process-driven and organised with a high attention to detail
  • Confident communicator and collaborator with some experience communicating across teams and external partners & suppliers
  • Possess financial acumen and an understanding of building project budgets
  • Motivate and encourage all members of the team
  • Support and development of new business opportunities
  • Culturally aware.
