We have an exciting opportunity within the Actors department for a full-time assistant to one of our Actor’s agents.

Located in the heart of London’s bustling and creative Soho, United Agents is one of London’s leading talent agencies encompassing the worlds of film, TV, books, theatre, and comedy.

You will be responsible for liaising with clients, casting directors, producers, and the media. You will also be also responsible for processing contracts, raising invoices, and ensuring the smooth running of the office at all times.

This is a very busy office requiring meticulous organisational skills and the ability to multitask. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced, creative environment, respect confidentiality at all times and possess the ability to remain calm when working under pressure. Attention to detail is crucial as well as being a strong and effective communicator as a large proportion of our work is carried out via phone calls, in writing and face-to-face meetings.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of emails and calls from clients, buyers and industry professionals.
  • Organise auditions, meetings, and client tapings.
  • Client submissions via spotlight and email.
  • Build client material and compile showreels.
  • Ensure client’s CVs are up to date.
  • Attend client/potential client performances in theatres and screenings.
  • Process contracts, issue invoices, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Provide full administrative support to the Agent.
  • Liaise with clients, casting directors, producers, and directors on a daily basis.
  • Diary management for the Agent and clients.

 

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • A passion for film, television and theatre is essential.
  • Has the ability to build good working relationships with other members of the team and department.
  • Skilled in multi-tasking and prioritising work.
  • Has the ability to remain calm when under pressure.
  • Has the ability to work at a fast pace to meet tight deadlines.
  • Scrupulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organisational skills.    
  • Skilled communicator.  
  • Possess a can-do attitude.
