The Amateur Licensing Department of Concord Theatricals Ltd is a busy and lively department, dealing with our many amateur and school customers. The Department licenses across the full Concord Theatricals catalogue, including plays, full length musicals and specially created editions for young people and schools, drawn from the greatest works available to the amateur market. We are looking to employ an Amateur Licensing Coordinator to cover maternity leave.

The role

Responsible for fulfilling all requirements of the general amateur licensing coordinator, including customer service. Works under close/direct supervision.

Outline of Specific Functions:

  • License productions to the specific needs of the amateur market
  • Offer customer services support to the licensing team 
  • Offer administrative support to the licensing team, ensuring information is kept up to date on Salesforce

What you'll be doing

  • Answering customer queries via telephone and email
  • Maximising sales of theatrical performing licenses and scripts
  • Providing timely responses to all enquiries
  • Providing knowledgeable advice and suggestions on Concord Theatricals products
  • Providing current information on availability of titles based on up-to-date communications with authors and agents
  • Participating in marketing campaigns to promote new and other specific Concord Theatricals products

What we are looking for

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail  
  • Good organisational skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritise 
  • A flexible, willing team member
  • Excellent communication skills, including telephone communication
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel
  • An interest in theatre and music
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Salesforce experience would be useful
