Our client base encompasses actors, directors, writers, producers and their production companies, below-the-line talent, models, casting directors, presenters, comedians, voiceover artists and others involved in all aspects of the media business.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced first assistant to join the team and provide support over a maternity leave period. This role is a great opportunity for someone with previous agency experience, who is excited by the challenge of working for a busy office and the skill set to adapt, learn and assist efficiently.


Responsibilities

  • Handling incoming calls/emails
  • Reading and breaking down scripts to circulate with the rest of the department
  • Managing the client paperwork including logging jobs, invoices, new starter forms
  • Sending out/tracking contracts
  • Suggesting talent for Spotlight
  • Pitching clients to casting directors/producers
  • Organising client auditions, meetings, ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement) and general logistics
  • Managing client availabilities and meetings
  • Sourcing showreel material and clipping client material
  • Maintaining client information on the ITG website
  • Managing the office and client calendar
  • Handling incoming press/requests
  • Developing a knowledge of the leading casting directors, production companies and producers


Knowledge, skills and experience

  • Previous agency experience
  • Excellent communication skills and phone manner
  • Efficient and organised with a great attention to detail
  • An ability to multi-task and react quickly to ever-changing situations
  • A working knowledge of the industry and a genuine interest in theatre, film and television
  • A willingness to learn and develop in the role
  • Computer skills and the ability to grasp basic software
  • Experience in handling short films, workshops, audio drama (such as radio and video games) and regional theatre is advantageous

You’ll primarily be based in our main office at Whitfield Street. Normal office hours will be 9.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday, although some flexibility is required. This role will include attendance at some evening events, both in London and the UK more widely. Please note that this is a one-year fixed-term maternity cover contract.
