STV is Scotland’s home of news, entertainment, and drama, serving audiences with quality content on air, online, and on-demand. STV’s broadcast channel reaches 3 million viewers each month, while STV Player is now pre-installed in three-quarters of the UK’s connected TV homes.

STV Studios are looking for an experienced Glasgow based Casting Researcher for a returning factual series. Please note, we are waiting final confirmation of the series, however we’re very excited to meet with people as we aim to start production soon and continue over the summer months.

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Previous casting experience, finding fantastic characters with remarkable stories, is essential for this role. 
• The ideal candidate will be confident in casting for high volume programmes, carrying out outreach, targeting, conducting interviews over Zoom and background checking contributors. 
• It is also desirable for candidates to have basic editing skills to assist in cutting casting tapes.

This is not an entry level role and previous casting experience is required.
