Ready to support high-profile partnerships at the Cannes Lions Festival? We're looking for a Commercial Operations Executive to join our team in London as part of our Operations function.

You will become an essential part of the City Operations to deliver an outstanding Cannes LIONS International Festival of Creativity. You will report directly into the City Operations lead and you will support to ensure the partnerships located in the City of Cannes (outside the Festival perimeter) are delivered efficiently, effectively and with high quality customer care. Post-Festival, you will support all administrative takes alongside the City Operations lead to prepare for the next festival cycle.

 

Key responsibilities

  • You will assist with delivery of partnerships that take place outside of the festival perimeter, in the City of Cannes - this will include (and not limited to) finding suitable venues and planning for dinners, cocktail events, ad hoc meetings and City advertising spaces
  • You will assist with maintaining the inventory and ensuring the partnership team has all accurate venue details to pitch City venues to our existing partners/ new potential clients
  • You will assist with researching new inventory and finding appropriate venues in the City of Cannes
  • You will gather monitoring reports for availability purposes with our venues/suppliers
  • You will assist with sharing non-sponsor activity/direct venue bookers with the partnership team to convert new business
  • You will assist with bi-weekly check-ins with our 5* hotels/ other City venues to continue to build on relationships
  • You will monitor planning stages of partnerships delivery with venue/supplier, production company and the client
  • You will manage and maintain online filing system of all delivery documents; including contracts, invoices, City submission files, designs and festival programming schedule
  • You will assist with raising PO’s and managing payment deadlines between the suppliers and our internal accounts team
  • Site visits and travel required as appropriate
  • You are an advocate and ally for diversity, equity and inclusion

 

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • Previous event coordinator/ administrative role experience
  • Desired future career development in event operations/project management
  • Efficient, good communicator and detail oriented
  • Ability to work in a high-performing, fast paced environment
  • Works well within a team - also is self-motivated and comfortable with individual tasks
  • Great customer service skills and highly organised
