You will be working across a range of the UK's best beauty brands, generating best in class press coverage for clients and taking part in a variety of industry leading events. You will be a proactive and integral part of the beauty communications team and involved in the management of a busy press office.
Responsibilities
- Assisting and leading on select events and projects
- Monitoring and tracking press, VIP and influencer coverage across online, social and in print
- Following trends and writing trend reports
- Creation of the monthly Blanket Newsletter
- Researching ideas for creative mailers, events and launches
- Supporting with the growth of influencer and industry network and databases
- Attending weekly team meetings
- Supporting on client presentations
- Attending targeted Press meeting
- Responding to press and influencer requests and enquiries
- Stock management including send-outs
- Managing master media list across press, influencer & key industry names
- Competitor analysis
- Client diary management and weekly agenda & minutes
- Project budget management.
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Beauty Industry or a transferable sector with an evident passion for the Beauty industry
- An ability to form Beauty Press contacts and develop relationships
- Wide knowledge of beauty creators, influencers and trends across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
- Experience in PR, marketing, communication or related field
- Excellent use of written English, including ability to write and edit press releases and media alerts
- Skills across Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Docs
- Social media savvy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and maintain strong external relationships
- Well-organised and efficient with good time management and prioritisation skills and the ability to summarise and communicate key information clearly
- Contributes positively to team dynamics and works together to achieve success
- Excellent use of written English, including ability to write and edit press releases and media alerts
- Skills across Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Docs.
