Hours: 35 hours per week (although additional hours may be necessary in order to fulfil the post’s requirements)

We are looking for a Corporate Development Administrator to join the National Theatre Development Team.

The purpose of this role is to support the Corporate Development team administratively in maintaining existing relationships and developing membership, sponsorship, and partnership opportunities. The Corporate Development Administrator provides essential and proactive support to the corporate team in our efforts to raise annual budget targets, through the smooth running of our administration and finance processes.

 

Responsibilities

General administration

  • Manage regular mailings to all NT supporters, including priority booking mailouts and supporter newsletters.
  • Working with the team to ensure supporter data is accurate at all times.
  • To maintain and oversee best practice for the NT’s shared database, Tessitura, including producing reports where required whilst ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Work with the EA to the Chief Development Officer and Director of Development to support with the administration of the Corporate Development Board as required.
  • To attend and minute interdepartmental meetings and share with the wider team and department as appropriate. 
  • To support Development team with administrative tasks related to annual budget, including recording income and tracking expenses from across the corporate sector.
  • To monitor and maintain the corporate development pages on the National Theatre website to ensure that they are accurate.
  • To act as the first point of contact for the corporate team.

Corporate partners & members

Support the Corporate Development team by administrating and monitoring Sponsor and Partner benefits as required. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Providing administrative support to the Corporate Membership Manager, including acting as the ticket hotline and booking and delivering tickets during priority booking period.
  • Work with Development Operations to ensure invoices are issued accordingly and keep records and contracts up to date.
  • To manage the administration of in-kind partnerships, including hotel reservations as part of the Edwardian partnership.
  • Manage access for partners and members across NT at Home, including creating promotional code access. 

Administrative support to the co-head's of corporate development

  • Provide assistance and administrative support to co-head’s of Corporate Development including diary management, expenses, meeting organisation and booking travel as well as research tasks, fact-checking and presentation preparation. 

Events

  • To support the corporate team and work closely with the Events team on the delivery of digital and physical corporate events, including compiling guest lists, distributing invitations and RSVPs.

 

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • Good experience in an office administration role providing support to a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Exemplary customer service skills in a busy environment and dealing positively with stakeholders to support their needs.
  • Highly literate and numerate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office as well as customer database tools (for example Tessitura or similar).
  • Strong time management skills and keen attention to detail especially when working with finance and expenses.
  • An enthusiastic self-starter with a strong sense of initiative.
  • A team player with a positive attitude in carrying out all departmental duties.
  • An interest in theatre and/or the arts.
  • An understanding of the functionality and needs of a Development department.
