Contribute fresh ideas to award-winning campaigns in this exciting paid internship!

Grayling is a global PR & Communications agency that builds ideas and campaigns that connect to audiences emotionally. The Grayling creative team works alongside a wider creative services team – IGNITE – which is packed full of professionals from the worlds of data, strategy, digital and social and sits at the heart of the Grayling UK business.

As a Creative Intern, you'll become part of a team that embraces fresh ideas and encourages bold thinking, operating across both the UK and global business landscape.

This team specialises in developing long-term campaigns while also being skilled at seizing quick opportunities presented by news and trends. Within this dynamic environment, you'll contribute to a variety of creative outputs, including PR, social media, content creation, and advertising. You’ll join a team ready to support you through every opportunity and to help you grow and learn to become the best creative you can be.

This role is perfect for individuals who think creatively, who are love coming up with new ideas and want to have the opportunity to explore doing that as a very rewarding career.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the creative team in developing and executing ideas across multiple platforms (including current Grayling clients and prospective new clients)
  • Participating in weekly brainstorming sessions to create compelling ideas for our clients (“Creative Clinics” for current Grayling clients are held twice a week)
  • Monitoring news and trends; generating ‘reactive’ ideas for current Grayling clients and pitching them to account teams
  • Keeping on top industry campaigns, sharing work with colleagues within the creative team and the wider agency

What we're looking for

  • Passion for creativity (particularly earned media) but also wider advertising/marketing
  • A good understanding of the media, what makes the media tick and the stories that you want to write about
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – vital to working in a small but agile team
  • Can think creatively and bring fresh ideas to the table
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of digital tools that can enhance their creative work

To apply

  • Log in to your Creative Access account or register today to apply for this opportunity
  • Upload your CV and cover letter as one document (applications without a tailored cover letter will not be accepted)
  • Once submitted, you can no longer amend your application, so proof-read carefully
  • Do not contact the company directly
