We have creative teams who work on Jamie’s award-winning books, TV and digital content; industry experts who develop Jamie’s range of kitchenware, food products and partnerships; a passionate restaurant team delivering amazing dining experiences for our international restaurants, our Catherine St restaurant and our amazing Cookery Schools; plus the campaigns team who lead the way on our social impact work. We’re really excited to introduce an internship program at the Jamie Oliver Group. We are looking for one intern to join us for a 12 month program to start in the next few months. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door within the creative industry, working for a truly unique and exciting business.
We run bi-annual Learning and Development programmes that offer a broad and exciting range of courses, covering soft skills, technical skills, mental health and wellbeing and DE&I. What you'll learn
- You’ll get to learn from experienced industry professionals.
- You will be a valuable member of the team, where you’ll learn by doing, providing support across a variety of daily tasks, campaigns, projects and initiatives.
- We do a lot of different things at The Jamie Oliver Group. We have teams across Publishing, Social Impact and Sustainability Food Development, Media Production, PR and more. Your 12 month internship may sit within just one of these teams, or you may have the opportunity to work across different teams.
- This will depend on the successful candidate's interests, skills and experience, and will be discussed and agreed as part of the recruitment process.
Knowledge, skills and experience
We are seeking creative and driven individuals who want to pursue a career in the creative and media industry. To make a success of this internship you’ll need to be:
- Enthusiastic, passionate and with strong work ethics
- Creative - you like to think outside the box
- A strong team player - you like to be part of, and contribute to a team
- Full of initiative and a good problem solver
- Keen to learn and develop
- Able to plan and prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines and have good attention to detail
- Able to demonstrate good IT skills ideally including Google suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Presentations)
