Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 5:30pm (hybrid with at least two days in office)

Service95 is a global editorial platform that brings a cross-cultural perspective to features, recommendations, video content and events – diving into topics across arts, fashion, travel, books, social justice and more.

As digital content intern, you will be assisting the team across all digital platforms including social media channels, the website, newsletter, Service95 Book Club and podcast. You will receive ongoing support from team members in social strategy and creation of social assets and copy, along with training for Wordpress and image editing.

 

Key activities

  • Assisting the social media manager with the creation of social assets and copy, including video production across TikTok (using CapCut) and Instagram 
  • Supporting the social media strategy, particularly for TikTok 
  • Supporting with social media content ideation and scheduling 
  • Building articles on Wordpress 
  • Adding images to Wordpress articles, including cropping and resizing images 
    Contacting PRs to request images and products 
  • Liaising with PRs and other industry professionals to help build a library of contacts 
  • Collating data to help build performance reports 

 

What we're looking for

  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment 
  • Interpersonal and communication skills 
  • A strong interest in digital media and visual communication 
  • Plenty of enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in and learn when it comes to new challenges 
  • A passion for culture, activism and storytelling through digital content 
  • Familiar with in-app creator tools on platforms such as TikTok and Instagram 
  • Creative mindset, with a keen interest in experimenting with video content 
  • Enthusiasm for staying on top of social media trends and exploring new content ideas 
  • Excited to capture content in real-time, whether on the go or behind the scenes 
  • Experience in Wordpress (our content management system) is helpful but not essential as training is provided 
  • Active social media content creation is essential for this role. Candidates should have experience producing engaging content on platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. In the next stage of the process, Service95 will assign a content creation task to showcase your creativity and online engagement skills.
