Location: The role will be based at our London office, Carmelite House, with a blend of in-office (3 days) and homeworking (2 days) per week.

Our Operations team plays a crucial role in the heart of Bookouture, where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a meaningful impact. From maintaining critical systems to spearheading strategic initiatives, our team is committed to driving operational excellence and delivering exceptional results.

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate to maintain and optimise existing systems and workflows to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Utilise scripting languages to automate manual processes, streamline processes and improve systems performance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new systems and applications to support business growth and efficiency.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Conduct research and stay up to date on emerging technologies and best practices in digital operations.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives as required.

 

Who we're looking for

  • You have proven experience programming in JavaScript or Python.
  • You have proven experience scripting in PowerShell or similar scripting languages.
  • You are a self-starter with a growth mindset
  • You have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • You are eager to join a dynamic team dedicated to optimizing systems, enhancing processes, and supporting the growth and success of a forward-thinking organization.
  • You can work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across departments.
