Location: Manchester or London - please state your base in your application. 

Role: Various roles across the series. Lifted Entertainment (North) are looking for experienced (at least 2 credits), multi-skilled Researchers with experience of Locations/VT and Edit.

 

Lifted Entertainment are looking for experienced EDIT/ VT RESEARCHERS for the returning series of The Voice UK.

 

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria).  Please evidence how you have met the minimum criteria in the comments box on your Airtable application form: 

  • Demonstrable experience working on large-scale studio music and entertainment shows, such as The VoiceVoice Kids, or similar peak-viewing series for UK broadcasters.
  • At least two TV credits at Researcher level on comparable series, showcasing a developed understanding of locations, VTs, and the edit process.
  • Proven experience in supporting teams in sourcing and developing engaging VT content for high-profile entertainment or music series.
  • Proven experience sourcing and clearing clips for UK broadcast TV, ensuring all rights and permissions are obtained.
  • Basic understanding of music clearance requirements, with prior experience in music clearance on similar series being an advantage.
  • Experience working sensitively and directly with contributors and performers, ensuring their needs (including accessibility) are met throughout research, filming, and edits.
  • Proven ability to source, set up, and clear filming locations, including obtaining permits where necessary.
  • Confident working with video editing software (e.g., Avid) and understanding post-production workflows and timelines.
  • Experience of working with Avid and the post production process is desirable but not essential
