Location: The role will be based at our Sheffield or London office, with a blend of in-office (3 days) and homeworking (2 days) per week.

Part of Welbeck, within Headline at Hachette UK, OH has a mission to publish beautiful gift books that find a passionate and diverse audience all around the world. We create illustrated titles covering a multitude of subjects including food, drink, fashion, lifestyle, music, film and sport. We work with brands from Shakespeare’s Globe to Kew Gardens, expert authors and a wide range of freelance writers and photographers. What you'll be doing

OH is looking for an enthusiastic, organised and enterprising individual to assist in the smooth running of the publishing programme across our lifestyle imprint and our popular ‘Little Books’ series. The successful candidate will provide administrative and editorial support to senior colleagues in the acquisition and creation of new illustrated titles. This is an exciting chance to join a team that makes beautiful and successful gift books sold around the world! If you’re someone with publishing experience or the desire and drive to break into this exciting industry, then we’d love to hear from you.


Who we are looking for

  • This is a key role for someone looking to move into, or progress within, illustrated book publishing.
  • They will need to be flexible, creative, have excellent attention to detail, and the ability to assist with all aspects of administration, co-ordination and driving of the OH publishing programme.
