What you'll be doing

The Editorial Operations Assistant is responsible for setting up titles and contract details on our Bibliographic system (Biblio Suite) and running regular checks on metadata for all Hodder & Stoughton imprints, ensuring that information is complete, correct and timely. They will also provide administrative support for cross-departmental processes, including reporting, minute taking and data cleansing.


Who we are looking for

  • We are looking for someone who is organised, accurate and calm under pressure.
  • They must be a good communicator, problem solver, and someone who can juggle multiple priorities.
  • The ideal candidate will also have good Excel skills, and previous experience of data input in an administrative role would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience in the publishing industry is not necessary.

The role will be based at our Sheffield or London office, with a blend of in-office (3 days) and homeworking (2 days) per week.
