Get immersed in the world of live production with this one-month internship, building practical experience in tour planning, scheduling and crew coordination at Kontour Productions.

Kontour Productions was launched in 2021, and sits as the production arm of the Fane Group; handling all logistics, technical advancing, tour management and livestreaming of all Fane shows across the UK and internationally. Over the past year, Kontour has expanded its reach into other sectors such as music and corporate events to provide third party services for Fane Speakers, as well as working with promoters outside of the Fane Group on live tours across the UK.

Kontour specialises in offering an end-to-end production service. From personable tour managers to building the content of live and online shows with high quality technical equipment and sets, their 360 approach to production is second to none.

Highlights of previous work include Grayson Perry’s A Show All About You, An Evening with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Keith Brymer Jones’ Life Clay and Everything, Jason Fox: Life At The Limit with Firefly Productions, An Extra Good Night with Yotam Ottolenghi and Noor Murad, An Evening with Dame Judi Dench, The Rathbone Prize, In Conversation with Stanley Tucci for The Women’s Prize Trust and Hachette’s 2023 ‘Changing The Story’ Festival.

As a Event Logistics Intern you'll support the Head of Logistics at Kontour in organising live tours, including all client/crew logistics.

Key activities

  • Assisting with budgeting and cost tracking
  • Creating and maintaining production schedules and call sheets
  • Coordinating crew bookings, contracts, and deal memos
  • Sourcing quotes and negotiating with suppliers
  • Managing risk assessments and health & safety documentation
  • Booking travel and accommodation for tours, making schedules, and using softwares specialised to touring
