Location: Cambridge/Hybrid (2 days per week in the office minimum)
Contract: Full Time (35 hours per week) / Fixed Term (8 weeks)

This is an experience design role supporting the in-house Experience & Service Design team on the design of a range of digital experiences including websites, apps and more.
You will be excited by all things digital and looking to hone your user experience and/or user interface design skills in this entry level design role. Working as part of a large in-house design team, you will have the opportunity to learn from those around you as well as share your passion and skills across a variety of projects.
Day-to-day you will be supporting the design team throughout the end-to-end experience design process, from rough sketch wireframes to pixel-perfect prototypes. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and gain invaluable experience as part of an in-house team.
What you'll be doing
As part of this role, you will:
- Develop your experience design skills to deliver engaging digital experiences for various channels and a global audience
- Work with established design systems
- Take part in and support the organisation of collaborative creative workshops
- Carry out administrative tasks to support the team
What you'll bring
- You are interested in designing digital products, services, and apps, and would like experience crafting meaningful learning experiences that support teachers and learners globally.
- You will be motivated by solving user problems through good user experience and be a highly collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- You have experience using design tools and processes, and are comfortable working with Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch.
- While we will provide training and support, a basic knowledge of at least one design tool is essential, as you will start designing straight away.
- You're driven by the opportunity to make a real impact and helping to shape experiences that improve learning and teaching for people around the world.
To be successful in this role, the following skills, values and behaviours are desirable:
- An interest in UX Design and solving user-problems
- Experience in the practice of UX research would be beneficial, if not then an understanding of UX research best-practice will assist you in the role
- Experience following design systems
- Genuinely empathetic, happy to ask for help and give help to others
- An enthusiasm for accessibility and inclusivity principles
- Happy presenting work to groups of designers or stakeholders for feedback
