You’ll gain insight into how a global organisation supports learners, teachers and researchers around the world, while developing practical workplace skills that will support your future career.

You will join a global cohort across the UK and Manila, with shared learning sessions that help you connect and network with peers in both locations.

UK roles are open to UK-based applicants; Manila roles are open to Manila-based applicants only.

These internships will be across several business areas. Key areas of work can include:

  • Editorial & Content Development. Support editorial processes, content development projects and academic publishing workflows.
  • Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging (EDIB). Contribute to EDIB initiatives, accessibility work and inclusive practice across our organisation.
  • Product, Experience & Design. Work with product teams on discovery, user experience, prototyping and supporting digital product development.
  • Strategy, Research & Impact. Support research activities, detailed insight work, impact evaluation and broader strategic projects.
  • Data, Technology & Operations. Assist with data integration, operational improvements, systems work and process efficiency projects.

Key areas of learning

Across the programme, you will develop core skills through real tasks and shared cohort learning:

  • Collaboration. Work closely with team members to support daytoday operations and contribute to a variety of projects.
  • Research. Conduct research on industry trends, competitors and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights.
  • Data analysis. Assist in collecting, analysing and interpreting data to support decision-making.
  • Documentation. Prepare reports, presentations and other materials to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Problem-solving. Actively participate in problem-solving and propose innovative solutions to challenges.
  • Learning and development. Take part in virtual workshops and training focused on project management, AI, communication and change skills.
  • Networking. Engage with colleagues and fellow interns across the UK and Manila to build valuable professional connections.
  • Administrative tasks. Provide general administrative support, including scheduling, organising meetings and maintaining documentation.

Knowledge, skills and experience

We’re looking for applicants who are:

  • Curious, motivated and eager to learn
  • Strong communicators, both written and verbal
  • Able to work collaboratively as well as independently
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Interested in contributing to meaningful work in education and publishing

You do not need prior experience. We value potential, enthusiasm and a willingness to develop new skills.
