If you are a designer who is keen to explore a new challenge, fascinated by insight (understanding what customers really want) and is excited to turn these insights into creative solutions for our clients – then we want to hear from you!

Insight + Strategy + Imagination is at the core of the Yonder offer. We have big plans in making a name for ourselves within the creative industry and we’re developing skills sets in a broad range – brand identity, naming, motion design, digital design, animation, copywriting, advertising and data visualisation to mention a few. From ambitious start-ups to world-class brands, we work in a wide variety of sectors, including retail, luxury, technology, hospitality, property, education and financial services.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and curious Graphic Designer to join our team as we continue to grow. You’ll report into the Associate Design Director and Creative Director, and will work alongside our team of designers, animators and strategists across London, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore. As a mid-weight, you’ll be leading on small project, or running specific workstreams within larger projects, so you’ll need good presenting skills and be ready or a more client facing role.

We’re looking for an ambitious creative, eager to learn and also to share your own wisdom and skills with the team.  You’ll be privy to all parts of the creative process, getting first-hand experience of how brands come to live. From workshops to creative sprints, researching and moodboards to designing and presenting, you’ll get it all.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll work alongside the creative team across a wide range of briefs.
  • You’ll be involved at all stages of a project from beginning to end.
  • In some instances, you’ll be the only designer working alongside one of our more senior members and in other instances, you’ll be part of a bigger team whereby responsibility is split up.
  • You’ll help support on pitches, proposals and anywhere your creativity is needed.
  • We use technology like Slack and Miro to communicate and collaborate and champion creativity within the wider business of Yonder.

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • Maybe you’re a junior who, after a few years experience is ready to make the jump to Midweight.
  • Perhaps you’ve just made the jump up but are looking for a new home for your next chapter. We’re looking for someone ready to grasp this opportunity and run with it. Make it your own.
  • You’ll love crafting logos, exploring typefaces as well as coming up with BIG brand ideas.
  • You’ll be comfortable working across all platforms, from print, digital to spatial.
  • Although motion skills aren’t a requirement, you think beyond 2D and think how brands move and come to life.
  • You follow the design press, knowing who does what, are aware of the latest trends and know your Mr Bingo to your Matt Blease.
  • You are optimistic and have a positive attitude.
  • You can show thinking behind your work and articulate feedback into actions for yourself.
  • You engage in discussions, contributing smart ideas.
  • You are not just a creative thinker but a problem solver who engages with the world at large, understanding our role in between clients and consumers.
  • Our HQ is in London, and you’ll need to be able to make it in at least 3 days a week.

Yonder has a real buzz as we continue to grow. We reward people who help to drive that growth and support and encourage new ideas which will add value. Our culture is highly collaborative, but also comes with a lot of freedom. We want you to be yourself and provide you with an encouraging and supportive environment to allow you to grow and develop too. We offer a competitive salary of up to £35k, 25 days holiday (plus your birthday off), 5% employer pension contributions, critical life insurance, private medical health insurance and other non-contractual benefits such as volunteering leave, 4pm finishes on Fridays and an annual wellbeing allowance.
