Specifically aimed towards those who are switching from another career and into publishing, these two internships based in Hachette UK's Sheffield are incredible opportunities to enter the industry in either Sales or Rights and Audio.

These internships are designed for people at looking to switch to publishing from another industry or career path. You'll gain hands on experience, work with bestselling authors and major titles, and learn about the publishing from beginning to end.
Rights & Audio
In this role you’ll learn the ins and outs of Rights and Audio.
In the Rights department, you’ll learn to produce material sales, liaise with our editorial team, and provide admin support to the whole team in selling a wide range of rights.
In the Audio department, you’ll be taught the whole range of skills from audio editorial, casting to much more!
Key skills in this area: Stakeholder Management, market Knowledge, Personal Organisation, Adaptability, Negotiation, Flexible, Adaptable and Positive. You may already possess some of these skills and be able to demonstrate them, or you may simply be keen to develop them further.
Sales
In this role you’ll learn to run publishing sales report, prep for acquisition meetings, support key account managers and relevant retailers. You’ll also help with sales queries from internal departments and other admin support as required.
Key skills in this area: Stakeholder Management, Commercial Awareness, Negotiation, Flexible, Adaptable and Positive. You may already possess some of these skills and be able to demonstrate them, or you may simply be keen to develop them further.

- Good attention to detail, time management, and prioritisation skills, Office 365.

Level of experience
- Entry
