Are you curious about a career in talent management and passionate about the entertainment industry? This 4-month internship offers hands-on experience, mentoring and real insight into the world of talent representation.

InterTalent is the UK’s pre-eminent privately owned talent management agency, recently celebrating 30 years as an ever-evolving talent house at the forefront of the entertainment industry. Its work has diversified within the changing media and entertainment landscape to include a full 360-degree model which operates across broadcasting, drama, digital, branding, music, publishing, comedy and sport. As the media landscape continues to evolve at such a rapid pace, InterTalent's extremely talented team of agents continue to push the boundaries of what is possible while making sure personal care for our clients is at the forefront of all of our endeavours. InterTalent's partners include BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Netflix, Sky, Warner Bros, Universal, Spotify, Amazon Prime, National Theatre, GQ, Grazia, Penguin Random House, The Guardian and many more. InterTalent have also launched Project 30 Studios, a production company specialising in talent-led projects, branded content and IP creation, collaborating with the likes of Manchester City, AmEx, Universal Records, Discovery+ and Channel 4.

The InterTalent internship is dedicated to finding the best and brightest new faces in talent management, whilst promoting diversity and inclusion. This 4-month internship includes a week in each of our departments, including unscripted, creators, sports, comedy, actors and brand partnerships, followed by three months performing reception duties, providing structured work experience and training in the fundamentals of talent management and representation. The internship also includes mentoring to provide a well-rounded experience. This internship is well suited to individuals aspiring to a career in talent management, especially those without an entertainment industry background. Due to the length and nature of the role, this internship is not available for those in between terms at university but is well-suited to school leavers, graduates and candidates who are interested in talent management. Key activities

  • Gain exposure to several InterTalent departments, gaining significant understanding across a range of genres
  • Sit amongst the team day-to-day learning talent management first hand
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues on client-based projects and tasks
  • Attend meetings with colleagues
  • Support colleagues with preparing pitches, events, brand partnerships, client gifting, management of the website
  • Gain exposure to deal negotiations and financial processes

What we are looking for

  • An understanding of, and interest in, talent management and the British entertainment landscape
  • Demonstrable passion for the entertainment industry with an interest in new generation talent
  • Knowledge of the current social media landscape
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to offer fresh ideas and perspectives to support client projects
  • Strong initiative to pick up tasks
  • Collaboration and teamwork skills
  • The ability to work at pace
  • A basic understanding of talent management principles demonstrated via your own research is desirable
  • Some proficiency with Canva, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is desirable
