What you'll be doing

• Ensuring the highest quality and professional standards of stock control, embedding and maintaining standard processes within our systems architecture, across full divisional lists
• Independently making stock and print decisions, balancing sales requirements with stock availability
• Communicating inventory data to the business
• Building and demonstrating understanding of supply chains and production process
• Developing close and frequent contact with the Sales team and divisional stakeholders
• Developing relationships with Hachette Distribution, external printers and Production departments
• Maintaining key inventory metrics to target, such as availability, stock turn and excess

• Experience in an operational or supply chain role
• Superb attention to detail
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• A good level of Excel skill and/or experience working with data
• Strong and confident written and in-person communication skills
• Proactive team player
• Effective communicator

The role will be based at our London office, with a blend of in-office (3 days) and homeworking (2 days) per week.
