If you enjoy the technical side of design, this is a chance to roll out campaigns for major household brands, turning creative ideas into finished artwork across print, digital and in-store.

Mercieca is a Camden-based, fully integrated creative agency with a passion for food and drink. Running for over 30 years, we are an integrated team offering a range of services including activation, PR, digital communications, and design. We work with some of the most well-known FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) brands in the UK. We consistently deliver brilliant ideas, find solutions to client’s problems and land results that make a real difference to their business. We’re renowned for best-in-class relationships – with media, clients, and suppliers.

We want Mercieca to be an inclusive place to work. We aim to create opportunities and reduce barriers for everyone. We are committed to making sure there is no unjustified discrimination in our processes for recruitment and selection, performance management and pay, and that promotion and retention is fairly granted across all areas of our business. Our goal is to bring together people with different experiences and backgrounds into the creative industry. We hope this will make everyone’s experiences richer and ultimately lead to more inclusive societies.

We are looking for a precision-driven Junior Artworker to join our fast-paced studio team. You will be the technical guardian of a high-volume retail account Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, working across the Coca-Cola portfolio, responsible for the seamless roll-out of creative concepts across a vast range of physical and digital touchpoints. From large-format pallet wraps and FSDUs (Free Standing Display Unit) to high-impact digital banners, you will ensure every asset is pixel-perfect, on-brand, and technically sound for production. This isn't just about "resizing"—it’s about understanding the nuances of different environments, from the supermarket floor to the smartphone screen.

What you'll be doing

  • End to end artwork roll-out for BTL (Below-the-Line) campaigns delivered across B2B and B2C suite of assets inc. POS (Point of sale), digital, print and social media assets. This includes the creation of key visual assets, layout and 3D rendering and simple animations for digital ads.
  • Production Roll-out: Take master design concepts and adapt them across various formats including FSDUs, floor vinyl’s, hanging banners, and pallet wraps
  • Digital Execution: Create and version digital assets including static/animated online banners and digital OOH (Out of Home) screens
  • Technical Precision: Prepare "print-ready" files with meticulous attention to bleed, overprint, cutter guides, and ink limits
  • Brand Guardianship: Act as the final line of defence for brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in typography, colour (CMYK vs. RGB), and imagery across all platforms
  • File Management: Maintain a highly organized server structure and naming convention to support the rapid pace of the account

Knowledge, skills and experience
Essential

  • Previous experience in an agency setting or as an Artworker
  • Proven track record of delivering multifaceted artwork assets
  • Strong eye for detail and self-proofer
  • The Toolkit: Pro-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop are non-negotiable)
  • Attention to Detail: You have a keen eye for typos, misaligned pixels, and incorrect brand colours
  • Tech specs proficiency: Fluency in reading spec documents for publishers and printers is a must
  • Understanding how to translate approved artworks into various digital and print/POS media formats is a key part of the role
  • Retail Savvy: An understanding of 3D POS structures (like how a 2D design wraps around an FSDU) and large-format print processes
  • Pace & Pressure: The ability to remain calm and methodical when deadlines are tight and the brief changes at the eleventh hour
  • Communication: You’re a team player who can talk shop with Printers, Account Managers, and Designers alike
  • Friendly, collaborative, and genuinely nice to work with — a people-first approach is essential

Desirable

  • Familiarity with After Effects or Figma for digital assets is a major plus
  • Ideally a degree, HND, or foundation degree in a relevant field such as graphic design, art and design, or illustration, but not mandatory
