We are looking for a Guest Assistant, who will work as an integral part of the Guest Services Team, supporting the team in its delivery of a world-class Festival for all attending festival guests.

The Guest Assistants will work in providing guest support leading up to and during the Festival, confirming guest attendance, assisting with guest lists for key events and screenings, and compiling and maintaining accurate information for Festival databases, website and press releases.

BFI London Film Festival (LFF) runs an Industry & Professional Programme of screenings, events, networking and informal marketplace for around 3,500 film industry professionals alongside the main public festival.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as the main guest contact for an allotted number of guests in shorts and feature films in the festivals general programme
  • Work closely with the Guest Team Lead to assist with travel and accommodation arrangements for invited festival guests
  • Assist the guest team in ensuring that Programmers and Programme Advisors of allocated titles are aware of details around intros and Q&As with filmmakers, hospitality details, special requirements, and other screening arrangements


We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Demonstrable work experience gained within a cultural organisation either in a paid or voluntary capacity
  • Demonstrable organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and to manage and meet deadlines
  • Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
