Are you looking to start your career in TV production? This programme offers tailored career advice, networking opportunities and valuable insight into how shows are made.

The 2026 lifted entertainment work experience programme is now open. With access to our programme for one year, this exciting opportunity is aimed at entry level & junior candidates looking to start a career in TV.

This programme offers:

  • Free career and CV advice throughout the year
  • Access to a variety of power hours with industry professionals
  • The ability to network at career events
  • Gain a greater understanding of how the industry works

Partnering with our ITV Academy, this programme also offers you the chance to apply for a possible 1 week shadowing placement on one of our shows, shadowing our teams and giving you first-hand insight into how a production comes together in a busy TV environment.

Our work experience programme is now in its sixth year running and we are very proud to watch many of our members go on to successful careers within the industry. Lifted Entertainment makes some of the most popular shows on TV, including Love Island, Love Island Aftersun, Love Island All Stars, I’m A Celebrity, The Royal Variety Show and many, many more! Being part of the programme will enable you to gain an invaluable insight into TV production and how shows are made.

Who can apply

  • Must be aged 18+
  • Must have the right to live and work in the UK

Any shadowing opportunities are predominantly London based but we are open to accepting applicants from across the UK.

Whilst we would love to reply to everyone, we are also only able to give feedback to those who make it through to the final stage of the process unfortunately due to volume.

Lifted Entertainment is committed to increasing the diversity of its workforce and we strongly encourage applications from candidates from all backgrounds. ITV strongly encourages applications for this role from Deaf, Disabled and neurodivergent people. As a Disability Confident Leader, if you meet the minimum criteria (as listed above) and you have declared that you are disabled, your application will go to the next stage of the process (although please note, there may be a few exceptions where we are not able to take all eligible candidates to the next stage due to the volume of applications). We're happy to discuss any support/personalisation you may need during the process, as part of our reasonable adjustments. Find out more about applying with a disability here.

Please state in your application that you found this role through Creative Access.
