Our festival-led approach reimagines traditional B2B events, creating powerful, immersive experiences that drive innovation and industry advancement. Building on decades of expertise and powered by Informa's international reach, we're shaping the next generation of business festivals. We’re part of Informa, a global business with a network of trusted brands in specialist markets across more than 30 countries, and a member of the FTSE 100 who are #3 in Glassdoor's Best Places to Work 2025 UK list.

LIONS powers the creative industries - providing the benchmark for creativity globally. As the global benchmark in creative and effective marketing through the Cannes Lions Festival, we help influential brands and companies use creativity to drive growth. We provide a suite of creative tools that connect, inform and unlock potential for people and businesses, covering events, intelligence, training and advisory services. Our five-day Festival in Cannes, France is the meeting place for the global marketing community and a celebration of the world’s most excellent and effective work.

We're looking for an Intern to join the LIONS brand for a three month “Creativity in Business” programme, and join us in Cannes, France during our festival on 22-26 June 2026 at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Our internship programme provides a platform for learning, growth and exposure to the business of creativity, laying the foundations for an informed & sustainable career in the creative industries. Candidates do not require previous experience, and we welcome recent graduates and/or those interested in a career change. All we ask is that candidates show a dedicated & demonstrated interest in the field of creativity.

As an intern, you'll spend 12 weeks across three LIONS departments including, Content, Marketing, Product and Partnerships in addition to one week onboarding before you start. During the experience, you’ll also work on a live project brief, which will be presented to the LIONS leadership team at the end of the rotation. That brief will not sit in isolation. It will connect directly to Informa Festivals’ Growth Framework, the shared blueprint guiding how we scale our brands globally.

At Informa Festivals, growth is not accidental. It is structured. Our Growth Framework gives us:

  • A common code for growth
  • A shared language
  • A consistent set of playbooks
  • A clear way to share learnings and cross-pollinate ideas across brands and region.

Your live project will align to one or more of the following growth pillars:

  • Festivalisation. Creating best-in-class experiences that differentiate our brands and deepen loyalty.
  • Market Penetration. Increasing our share within existing markets and audiences.
  • Innovation. Launching new products, inventory or content within current events.
  • Geographic Expansion. Taking established brands into new regions and territories.
  • 365 Expansion. Engaging customers beyond the event moment through year-round touchpoints.
  • Pricing for value. Ensuring we capture the fair value of our premium products and experiences.

This means your internship is not observational. It is commercial. You will be contributing to real growth priorities that shape the future of LIONS and the wider Festivals portfolio.

Successful applicants will be expected to attend three in-person days per week at the LIONS Office at 5 Howick Place, Victoria, London.

What you'll be doing

This internship is primarily an opportunity for you to learn new skills and observe a range of different roles to help you build your CV and support you on your career journey. However, we know that many people learn best through doing, so while on this internship you will get the opportunity to:

  • Shadow live client calls and understand global account management
  • Understand the different product sets within LIONS and what it takes to build a global brand
  • Meet and work with a wide range of individuals across our business
  • Develop and write your own product strategy
  • Brainstorm marketing and communications plans
  • Work on a holistic internship project to be presented at the end of your rotation
  • Present and pitch your ideas to LIONS executives

What you'll gain

  • A macro understanding of the marketing & advertising industry
  • Exposure to core functions of a global business, with a focus on creativity
  • Inspiration & networking to equip you for a career in the creative industry

We welcome and encourage applications from candidates who are under-represented in the creative industries.
