Magna Studios is looking for a Production and Department Assistant to join our Commercials and Music Video team in our London office.

An opportunity to work at the centre of a growing team and develop a variety of skills in a dynamic environment with world class talent, we are looking for a candidate with at least one year of experience as a Runner, Production Assistant or Production Company Office Assistant with a demonstrable interest in filmmaking and production, ideally with the ambition to working their way up to Producer.

Production responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with crew and suppliers
  • Building decks (storyboards, mood boards, casting etc)
  • Organising travel
  • Preparing call sheets
  • Processing invoices
  • Float reconciliation
  • Attending shoots to support Producer and Production Manager


Department responsibilities will include:

  • Office management
  • Organising meetings and events
  • Coordination of diaries
  • Managing digital filing systems
  • Reconciling expenses
  • Booking travel
  • Onboarding freelancers
  • Submitting award entries
  • Keeping abreast of emerging talent

Employment notes:

  • Start date – January 6th
