
Production and department assistant

Magna Studios is looking for a Production and Department Assistant to join our Commercials and Music Video team in our London office.
An opportunity to work at the centre of a growing team and develop a variety of skills in a dynamic environment with world class talent, we are looking for a candidate with at least one year of experience as a Runner, Production Assistant or Production Company Office Assistant with a demonstrable interest in filmmaking and production, ideally with the ambition to working their way up to Producer.

Production responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with crew and suppliers
- Building decks (storyboards, mood boards, casting etc)
- Organising travel
- Preparing call sheets
- Processing invoices
- Float reconciliation
- Attending shoots to support Producer and Production Manager
Department responsibilities will include:
- Office management
- Organising meetings and events
- Coordination of diaries
- Managing digital filing systems
- Reconciling expenses
- Booking travel
- Onboarding freelancers
- Submitting award entries
- Keeping abreast of emerging talent
