The Role: Production Assistant
We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven, and efficient individual with a good work ethic. Experience in the live events industry is desirable but not essential. Excellent organisational skills, computer literacy and the ability to work as a team, but also comfortable working alone, will be important in this role.
This role reports to the Head of Logistics and Managing Director.
Location: This role could be based either in the London Office in Farringdon or Kontour Head Office in Pontefract.
Main Duties:
- Assisting with logistics, booking hotels and travel for both talent and crew
- Working closely with talent to ensure a smooth process when it comes to talent itineraries on tour
- Accurately assigning and processing expenses from various tours and live events.
- Attending live events to assist the Tour and Production Managers as a show runner throughout the UK
- Maintaining office administration systems, including digital filing
- Updating the company Calendar
- Completing the company credit card expense forms
- Providing on-the-ground assistance at events, to ensure that talent care is upheld to the highest standard
- Assisting with anything that the company requires when it comes to logistics on events
Knowledge, skills and experience
Essential
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Experience of working in a busy company environment
- High standards of literacy and numeracy
- Working knowledge of Microsoft systems (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to work on a Mac
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills – you need to be able to cope with a substantial workload and multi-task
- Ability to work under pressure and with interruptions
- A strong attention to detail
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Dynamic with a hands-on, can-do attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt to all kinds of situations
- A high level of professional integrity
- Honest, reliable, and hard-working
Desirable

- It would be useful but not essential if you have previous work experience within the live event industry, either in an administrative role or as a tour manager.
