
Production assistant, Children’s

Salary: £27,000 per annum
Bloomsbury Publishing Plc is looking for a highly organised and motivated individual to join our very busy Children’s Production Department as Production Assistant.
This role will work on a prestigious backlist and reports to the Deputy Head of Production, Children’s Production Division.
Reporting to the Deputy Head of Production, key tasks will include costing and processing colour and mono reprints, co-editions, backlist eBooks and some POD along with providing administrative support to the team.
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Keen eye for detail and a good head for numbers
- IT skills (knowledge of Office is essential and familiarity with Adobe products and Biblio 3 desirable)
The role is based at our London office 50 Bedford Square, London, WC1B 3DP on a hybrid working pattern of 2 days office based / 3 days home based (or fully office based if preferred). Allocated office days for this role are Monday and Tuesday.
