Production co-ordinator, Specialist Factual Productions
Salary: £29,000 - £40,000 plus London weighting at £5319, depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
Duration: From early December/January until August 2025
BBC Studios Specialist Factual Productions are looking for an experienced full-time production co-ordinator to work on a new ambitious 4-part history series for BBC & S&D.
Specialist Factual Productions is the home of dynamic, thought-provoking and award-winning factual television that makes stories that matter.
The series will feature drama as well as documentary elements and may involve CGI and foreign filming.
We are seeking someone who is invested in the content and enjoys contributing to the common goals of a supportive production team. Must have a solid track record with setting up foreign filming, and working with large crews, be able to juggle/ prioritise different demands from different people; have stamina over a long production, resilience and understanding the knock-on of changes to plans and adapting accordingly.
The role will be a combination of WFH and working at our London Television Centre offices in West London.
What we're looking for
- You must have a genuine interest in BBC Studios' output and Specialist Factual content.
- You’ll have considerable experience working as a Production Co-ordinator in TV across a variety of Factual content.
- Experience of working on productions involving international delivery/co-productions.
- Strong organisational and planning skills paired with accuracy and an aptitude for systems.
- Prior experience working on Drama Reconstruction as a Production Co-ordinator would be desirable.
- Prior experience using Albert and delivering sustainable productions.
- Would be interested to hear from anyone who has worked on VFX or CGI productions.
