Working pattern: Hybrid - minimum of two days per week in the office; up to three days per week working from home

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for an experienced and creative individual to join the trade team at Bonnier Books UK Trade.

We are looking for a first-class production controller to join our talented production team. You will be a key member of our friendly production team, working with an international supplier base. Flexibility, commercial acumen, and experience in both 4-colour and mono production are a must as well as having a positive and can-do attitude.


Responsibilities

  • Managing a list of front list titles and reprints as required
  • Vendor management & price negotiation
  • Product development & safety testing
  • Colour & quality management
  • Overseeing successful delivery of product
  • Actively liaising and collaborating with various teams across the wider business
  • Problem solving & troubleshooting


Knowledge, skills & experience

  • Demonstrable book production experience across a range of products
  • Experience of mono and 4 colour trade publishing
  • Confident communication and organisation skills, with the ability to forge strong relationships quickly with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to manage a high volume of diverse & complex titles with competing deadlines
  • Experience and knowledge of working in Biblio3 is beneficial
  • Pro-active, quick thinking and analytical, with a strategic approach and excellent attention to detail.
  • You must be enthusiastic, positive, a great communicator and a strong team player.
