We are looking for a production intern to join our creative, talented, passionate team. With the continuous growth of our Silk Factory family both in the UK and the US, we’re looking for an up and coming, curious and ambitious production intern to work with us in our London office.

Our full-time, paid internship programme is proven to be an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in creative agency production collaborating with some of the world’s most well-known film production & distribution companies such as Lionsgate, Warner Bros, Universal and more. The chosen candidate will constantly seek to learn more and help push the agency forward whilst working on a multitude of diverse projects from sales promos, trailers, sizzle reels, TV and radio spots as well as social creative.

This internship will be a 9-month programme offering you the experience required to progress on your journey. Individuals that demonstrate potential, meet the required performance criteria, and a genuine passion for creative producing will be offered the opportunity to join Silk Factory as a production assistant following this period.


Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the creation of briefs for editors and designers.
  • Keep communication channels open between all departments in the business.
  • Office & project admin.
  • Post-production assistant tasks.
  • Reading feature scripts & summarising for pre-production works & featurettes/rip-reels.
  • Source music for projects & update music library.
  • QCing files to ensure projects are delivered to the high standards that Silk Factory’s output requires.


What you'll bring

The ideal candidate will be committed to a career within the creative industry and should display the following attributes:

  • Curiosity, honesty, ambition, drive and responsibility as well as having a keen interest in social media and current trends and an interest in the film/media market.

Having a degree is not essential if the applicant shows a deep passion in creative marketing.
