Kick-start your career at the heart of a culture-led creative agency! From shoots and studio setups to day-to-day agency life, this role is a standout opportunity to gain hands-on experience across production and office management.
Formidable is a social-first creative agency that helps global brands connect with culture. We do this by combining multi-disciplinary creative, integrated production and bespoke ways of working. We’re a supergroup of creatives, producers, strategists, designers, editors, directors, PRs, project managers and social experts – all committed to helping our clients thrive in culture. We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive office & production assistant to join our growing team. This is a varied role that mixes office management with hands-on production support, putting you right at the heart of how the agency runs.
You’ll keep the office tidy and well-stocked, making sure the team has everything they need to work at their best. As part of this, you’ll, arrange weekly breakfasts and organise all-agency lunches or socials. You’ll also keep on top of supplies, noticing when food, drinks or stationery are running low and re-ordering as needed. You’ll work with the shooting director who has overall responsibility for the kit room, making sure all equipment is logged, charged and in good working order. Ahead of shoots, you’ll help prepare and pack the kit, double-checking nothing is missing and flagging anything that needs repairing or replacing. You’ll also run our in-house podcast studio, setting up equipment, assisting with recordings and resetting the space ready for the next session.
On shoot days, you’ll step into a runner role, supporting the crew on location. That could mean collecting props, helping set up gear, welcoming contributors, managing release forms, organising meals, or keeping the set moving smoothly. It’s also a chance to shadow camera or sound crew and pick up practical production skills. In the office, you’ll provide day-to-day production support. This could involve helping draft call sheets, printing scripts, booking couriers or travel, backing up drives, or keeping project files in order. You’ll also pitch in with ad-hoc tasks wherever needed, playing a key role in keeping both the office and productions running without a hitch.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow their career in production. You’ll gain experience across office management, production logistics, and on-set support, while learning directly from producers, directors, and technical crew. It’s a chance to build valuable skills, take on real responsibility, and grow with a creative team working on exciting projects.

We bring the energy - Our positive energy brings out the best in people. It comes from genuinely caring about our team, encouraging collaboration and celebrating every single success. Solidarity and motivation follow as we do work the whole agency is proud of and everyone thrives.
We strive for excellence (not perfection) - People come to us for the best. And that means we show up every day ready to deliver. Ready to support each other’s growth. Ready to push and challenge people to produce great work together. Ready to be part of something big.
We find strengths in our differences - Life would be boring if we all thought the same. And so would our work. Which is why we value diversity: of backgrounds, views, beliefs and experience. A level playing field attracts the best talent. A shared sense of belonging makes us stronger. A rich mix of minds makes our work better.
We care about our people - Teamwork doesn’t work unless every individual feels appreciated, trusted and supported. And comfortable that their personal values can coexist with company values. Clear boundaries. Open dialogues. Investing in personal development. It all helps to make this happen. Along with a collective responsibility to care — we’ve got each other’s back.
