ITV Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised production trainee to join the editorial team on a brand-new ITV Studios Entertainment show.
This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to gain essential experience on a new show in a fast-paced environment.
Your primary focus will be providing research support for the editorial team. You'll be instrumental in ensuring the show's content is accurate, engaging, and well-organised, while also providing general support to the production, especially on our dynamic studio days. If you have a strong can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and are ready to dive into the world of TV production, apply now!
Key activities
- Provide editorial research support across the programme
- Execute thorough research and fact-checking on guests and/or audience-related comedy items, alongside collecting and organising research materials into databases
- A strong commitment to professional etiquette, discretion, and proactively informing team members of changes is essential

Minimum criteria
- Passion and attitude - a proven passion for the chosen genre including an interest in popular culture and/or comedy and a positive, resilient attitude
- Transferable skills - organisational skills and aptitude for and interest in research and writing
- Logistical skills, proven through experience with projects, hospitality, or other jobs
- A clear ability to multitask, pay attention to detail, and be adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Communication and interpersonal skills - excellent written and verbal communication, with a proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team environment, and to interact positively with a diverse range of people
- Flexibility
- No formal academic qualifications are required; a good standard of communication skills (written and verbal) is essential
