DDA Live, our specialist event production division, delivers high-profile premieres, red carpets, brand activations, and large-scale live experiences. Our clients include Disney, Apple TV, the BFI, and Amazon Prime Video, and our work spans everything from film festivals to bespoke film, TV and product launches.

The Role

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Project Assistant to join DDA Live in our London office.This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career in live events and entertainment. Working closely with our Event Producers and wider Live team, you'll support the planning and delivery of a wide variety of high-profile projects, while gaining hands-on experience across every stage of event production.

You'll be involved in everything from supplier research and logistics to client deliverables and on-site event support. As your experience grows, you'll take ownership of smaller projects with the guidance and mentorship of more senior colleagues, making this an ideal role for someone who is organised, creative, eager to learn, and passionate about live events.

What You’ll Be Doing

Project Delivery

  • Support Event Producers and the wider team in developing and delivering events that meet client objectives, budgets, and timelines.
  • Assist with the day-to-day coordination of multiple live event projects from concept through to delivery.
  • Gather supplier quotations, proposals, and supporting documentation.
  • Research new suppliers, venues, and production partners to help expand DDA Live's network.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the team.
  • Prepare presentations, schedules, production documents, and client materials to a consistently high standard.
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately, on time, and reflects DDA's high standards of quality.
  • Take ownership of smaller projects from briefing through to delivery, with support from experienced team members.
  • Manage the team’s inventory and storage unit, take in deliveries and manage storage solutions in the office.
  • Provide on-site support during event builds, live event delivery, and de-rigs where required.

Research & Industry Awareness

  • Stay up to date with emerging trends across live events, entertainment, experiential marketing, and social media.
  • Share inspiration, innovative event ideas, and industry news with the wider team.
  • Research creative solutions and suppliers that enhance the quality and impact of our events.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of influencer campaigns, brand activations, and entertainment industry trends.

Team Contribution

  • Build positive relationships across the Live team and contribute to a collaborative working environment.
  • Demonstrate a positive, proactive, and solutions-focused attitude in everything you do.
  • Support colleagues across multiple projects during busy periods.
  • Show enthusiasm for learning new skills and taking on additional responsibilities as your experience develops.
  • Be willing to travel within the UK and internationally to support event delivery when required.

What We’re Looking For

  • A proactive, curious, and intuitive approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • A creative, social-first mindset and a keen interest in emerging trends and innovative campaigns.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to identify insights and key learnings from research and reporting.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and presentation software.
  • Previous experience in events, hospitality, marketing, or a customer-facing role is desirable but not essential.
  • Flexibility to travel within the UK and internationally when required.
  • This role would be based in our London office at least 4 days per week.
