
Rights and co-editions executive (12 month FTC)

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience and location (+bonus +benefits)
Location: The role will be based at our London or Sheffield office, with a blend of in-office (3 days) and homeworking (2 days) per week.
Start date: The start date for this role is approximately end of June.

The successful candidate will report to the Rights Director and will need to be a team player with strong negotiation skills, eye for detail, the ability to problem solve and to have great organisational and time-management skills.
What you'll be doing
- Helping to grow our successful Rights and Co-edition business, through selling rights and co-editions across the illustrated Group Rights lists.
- This will involve direct sales along with working with selected sub agents.
- The territories are likely to include Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, Greece and Turkey along with the Arabic and Hebrew languages.
Who we are looking for
- You will have experience in negotiating rights deals and have an understanding of how co-editions work.
- You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with our customers and in-house colleagues.
- There will be the opportunity to attend international book fairs and to go on sales trips to further your market knowledge and grow the business.
