We are seeking a confident and well-organised Sales Assistant to join our Sales team in the London office. You will support the wider DK International and UK Sales teams, coordinating vital sales materials and information across a wide variety of fiction lists and gain an understanding of the requirements of a fast-paced global content business.
This role offers a unique opportunity to expand your publishing knowledge and develop valuable skills in sales and marketing, gaining invaluable experience. You'll receive firsthand experience in the importance of exceptional customer service, both for our sales teams and directly with readers at exciting sales events.
Responsibilities
- Field requests for the sales team, including acquiring sales material from the US and helping with sales presentations content.
- Support custom production requests, including cost management and collaboration with our custom team to help deliver bespoke projects.
- Contribute to event support as needed, assisting in the seamless execution of sales events and activities.
- Report on market data to identify key trends, with opportunities to conduct competitor analysis and provide insights.
- Generate and circulate weekly sales reports, as well as ad-hoc reporting
