
Script supervisor, Coronation Street - 12 month FTC

This is your chance to be the linchpin of production, juggling everything from prepping scripts and timing critical scenes, to managing vital paperwork and even booking walk-ons. You'll be right there on set, assisting the director and ensuring every detail aligns, while mentoring future talent. This dynamic role demands a sharp mind, stellar organisation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Previous experience as a Script Supervisor or in a closely related role within television drama production (at least 6 months experience).
- Demonstrable experience in a production environment, showcasing an understanding of the filming process and on-set etiquette.
- Experience working on a Continuing Drama is desirable.
- Experience producing continuity notes is required.
- Experience in timing scripts and managing script changes efficiently.
- Familiarity with industry-standard on-set paperwork, such as camera cards and editing logs.
- Proficient computer literacy, including competency in word processing and basic data entry.
- Experience handling sensitive confidential information and interacting with cast and crew.
- Experience in liaising with visiting artistes and providing them with necessary production information.

- Ability to take accurate and comprehensive notes during filming, including shot details and continuity information.

- Strong organisational skills with the proven ability to manage multiple tasks and paperwork with meticulous accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear and effective interaction with a diverse range of individuals.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure, consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to the team.
