Salary: £23,300 pro rata

Duration: 6 months

Working hours: 10am - 6pm, Monday - Friday (due to the nature of the role you may occasionally be asked to work outside these hours with advance notice)

Location: Hybrid working from the London office two days per week

Start date: Late October 2024

 

From filming exhibitions to editing social media reels, this internship is your chance to get creative in the world of digital arts content!

The Arts Society is a leading arts education charity with a global network of local Societies which bring people together through a shared curiosity for the arts. CULTUR.ART is The Arts Society's digital content destination where art in all its forms can be explored in new ways, inspiring to help people lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. 

They are looking for a Social Content Intern to join their team in London for a 6-month internship. This position is a hybrid role requiring in-person work at their central London office two days a week and attending events/exhibitions/filming as required.

 

Key activities

  • Assist with the creation and posting of daily content on social platforms
  • Edit short-form video clips e.g. TikToks, IG Stories & Reels, YouTube shorts
  • Film short video clips on iPhone
  • Edit images for TikTok and Instagram, cropping and resizing, adding text, etc
  • Contribute ideas and take part in brainstorms
  • Update the calendar and identify story opportunities
  • Support on social posts and reporting
  • Support on written articles and website updates
  • Support on interviews and film shoots
  • Developing copywriting skills and contributing to long-form video production

 

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrable passion for the arts & culture
  • Loves to keep up with the latest social media trends
  • Keen to attend cultural events
  • Good IT skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Strong spoken & written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with strong organisational skills and flexibility with planning and prioritising tasks
  • Familiarity with video/photo editing tools like Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent, and knowledge of basic editing software such as CapCut, is desirable but not essential
