We are a dynamic and friendly team of 30 located in beautiful riverside offices in Wapping, E1. We are an architecture practice that specialise in housing and have a growing body of work in the public realm, education, commercial and public building sectors. We work on regeneration and direct delivery housing for many of the London boroughs, and for many aspirational, well-known developers. We deliver community-led schemes, sustainable design, and craft collective space for people to thrive. 

We are looking for a full time Studio Coordinator to join the admin team and contribute to the smooth running of the studio and creating a clean, safe, friendly and overall positive working environment. The Studio Coordinator will hold an integral role in supporting the whole team across a wide range of tasks. Working as part of the admin team, this is a varied and interesting role and the ideal candidate should be someone who is highly organised and proactive, able to work well independently and have a friendly and helpful persona. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Studio Administration including telephones, deliveries, post, supplies
  • Front of House; diary coordination for the studio and directors, setting up meetings, greeting visitors
  • Provide administrative support to the team
  • Booking travel, events, couriers, tickets
  • IT support, liaising with the external IT support company
  • Coordinating studio maintenance and upkeep
  • Coordinating the CPD schedule with the CPD team and booking external speakers
  • Keeping the studio and kitchen stocked with model making equipment, stationary and treats
  • Providing HR support including induction, recruitment and annual leave
  • Assistance in organising publicity events, staff socials and studio trips
  • Providing support to the Social Value team, assisting with work experience placements and educational programmes

 

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • A genuine interest in architecture and the built environment 
  • Good communication skills
  • A genuine’ people person’ who thrives on teamwork
  • A positive, friendly and practical approach to problem solving
  • Organised, able to work under pressure with close attention to detail 
  • Excellent Microsoft; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite; Acrobat, InDesign and Photoshop 
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements
