Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + London Weighting (£5k), depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights. 

Location: Office Base is either Television Centre, London, Bristol, or Salford. This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working.

 

Drive meaningful change in Talent Operations, from onboarding improvements to empowering hiring leaders.

The Talent Enablement team at BBC Studios has been designed to drive capability and performance throughout the Talent team by giving focus to the Tools we use, the Processes that Lead us, and the Employer Brand that celebrates who we are. 

As an Operations Specialist within the Talent Enablement team, you will be responsible for Processes and Ways of Working that are used by the BBC Studios Talent team. This means you will have the responsibility of reviewing and driving change across some of our most impactful processes across the Talent Team, including reviewing and leading improvements in our current Onboarding processes, and leading on enhancing our Hiring Leader capability. 

This role will work in close partnership with our HR Operations and HR Service teams, all parts of the Talent team, our peers in BBC Public Service, and ultimately our Candidates, People, and Hiring Leader populations to positively impact our Candidate and Employee experience. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the successful build and delivery of Enablement initiatives aligned with the Operations pillar 
  • Utilising Project Management tools to track and forecast workload and delivery timelines 
  • Responsible for accurately scoping/interpreting Customer (TA and Business) requirements and feeding those through to Development (Internal or External) teams 
  • Responsible for managing Customer (TA and Business) expectations 
  • Responsible for maintaining an accurate Roadmap of upcoming delivery dates (new products, new features, training, etc) 
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise for TA Processes including Hiring Best Practice, Onboarding, and ultimately any process initiative that can positively impact the experience of our candidates and BBC Studios people 
  • Effectively manage multiple stakeholders across the business to ensure the effective implementation and usage of TA tooling 
  • Work in partnership with the relevant BBC Tech and Compliance teams (Privacy, Data Retention, AI) 
  • Work in Partnership with BBC PSB teams regarding current and new initiatives 
  • Collaborate with Studios HR Operations team  
  • Manage relationships with relevant Customer Success teams of tools that TA own to ensure effective utilisation of paid/procured tools 
  • Provide TA Enablement Manager with regular updates on tooling performance in readiness for contract renewal and negotiations 
  • Survey and evaluate future use cases for new tooling 

 

Knowledge, skills and experience

Minimum criteria

  • Extensive experience as a Recruitment/TA practitioner. 
  • ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and TRM (Talent Relationship Management) experience is highly advantageous, either from a user or a configuration perspective. 
  • Experience using Project Management software to successfully manage and deliver projects. 
  • Confident leading stakeholder relationships across all levels of an enterprise-size business. 
  • Experience working in a Global capacity is advantageous. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to develop, maintain and enhance relationships with a variety of contacts; strong influencing and persuading skills. 
  • Experience and understanding of all of the key stages of the Candidate and Employee journey, along with the impact each stage has on the next is essential.
