Location: Cambridge/Hybrid (2 days per week in the office minimum)
Contract: Full Time (35 hours per week) / Fixed Term (8 weeks)

As the Product Management Intern, you will work within the Teaching and Learning Product Team. We enable learners to be ready for the world by creating products and services which inspire teaching, give confidence and bring learning to life. Working alongside our friendly team, you will be responsible for developing exciting new products for our customers including print books, digital teacher resources, online activities and front of class presentation tools.
The customer is at the heart of everything we do, so an important part of your role will be conducting research to understand the needs of teachers and learners around the world. You will work closely with a commissioning editor in the English team to define a vision for the new product(s) and build a profitable business plan based your customer research.
What you'll be doing
As part of this role, you will:
- Learn about the principles of product management and customer research
- Undertake research activities e.g., developing and analysing customer surveys, conducting customer interviews, undertaking competitor research
- Produce and present reports from research activities to support business decision-making and design of new features/products
- Support the commissioning editor in developing and presenting a business case for new print and digital educational product(s)
What you'll bring
We are looking for a collaborative team member with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will have an interest in education and working in publishing or product design. In particular, we are looking for someone who is interested in designing new digital products for teachers and learners around the world.
