As trainee people team administrator, you will work closely with, and support global teams in APAC, the US, and UK in providing full-cycle support for a global team of 210 people. Your role will give you a full insight, and training on, how to support a global team, covering administration, payroll, learning & development, and talent acquisition. You will need to be passionate about ensuring all Purple employees have the support they need to flourish in their roles; an interest in diversity, equity and inclusion is desirable.


What you will learn

  • How to assist with managing the recruitment process, including preparing job adverts, advertising roles, screening applications, and liaising with candidates
  • Co-ordinating data for special projects such as salary & benefits benchmarking, and job description streamlining
  • Assisting with UK Payroll processing
  • Coordinating global learning & development programmes
  • Assisting with day-to-day People Team administration
  • Co-ordinating recruitment referencing
  • Preparing weekly People Team reports
  • Coordinating global organisation charts
  • Assist in managing the company career page and LinkedIn Recruiter account
  • Assist with the Intern Programme both in the US and UK.
  • Oversee the ATS system ensuring that content and data are up to date
  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates for entry level roles and internships
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
  • Answering day to day HR queries
  • Maintaining employee information/updates to feed into monthly payroll.
  • On- and off-boarding management


What we are looking for

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Have a keen interest in pursuing a career in HR
  • Proficient with excel, power point and other related software
  • Enjoy finding solutions
