BBC Studios Natural History Unit (NHU) in Bristol is embarking on a new spectacular landmark production following on from the recent success of Asia, The Americas and Kingdom. They currently have a coveted opportunity for a Trainee Production Management Assistant to join a new series for twelve months.
What you'll be doing
The successful candidate will work alongside the rest of the production team, helping with tasks such as:
- You will provide administrative support to the production team/s to ensure the smooth and efficient running of productions during various stages of the process.
- You will be responsible for resolving a range of diverse operational issues within the role, escalating to the Production Co-ordinator, Junior Production Manager or Production Manager where necessary.
- You will be required to create value through effective and efficient management of time and resources.
What we're looking for
- Demonstrates strong organisational and planning skills and manages conflicting demands to meet deadlines
- Experience of working in a pressurised and challenging environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work collaboratively within a diverse team
- Willing to learn core business systems and processes, including simple budgeting tasks.
- Demonstrable experience or interest in the media; including enthusiasm for factual content and documentaries.
- Team player with the ability to take the initiative.
- Creative and bursting with engaging ideas.
- A demonstrable interest in the natural world.
