We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised, and confident individual to join our Nosy Crow Sales team as a sales executive, working across our fast growing and award-winning Children’s list.
Nosy Crow is a multi-award winning, independent children’s publishing company based in London. We make child focused, parent-friendly children’s books for ages 0-12. This role is ideal for someone eager to continue their sales career in a fast-growing company, which produces a broad range of beautiful books.
This is a role in our expanding UK sales department working across our entire list from board and novelty books to 11+ fiction. Reporting to our Head of Special Sales, you will support them across a range of accounts including TK Maxx, The Works, Aldi and Baker and Taylor. You will also manage the trading relationship and sell in for a select number of your own customers. In addition to this, you will support with data analysis and customer meeting prep on our supermarket and High Street accounts.
You’ll need to be friendly and determined, with a keen eye for detail, and good at working as part of a team.
The role is a full-time position and is a hybrid role, working a minimum of three days per week in our office near London Bridge. There will also be opportunities to visit customers both solo and alongside other sales team members. The successful candidate will have the right to live and work in the UK.

Key responsibilities and tasks:
- Supporting Head of Special Sales across a range of accounts, including data analysis and support for customer meetings.
- Managing the trading relationships and sell-in for a range of accounts.
- Attending account meetings solo and with other members of the team.
- Working with the PR and Marketing teams to ensure customers are kept up to date with campaigns.
- Working with Design and Editorial teams to ensure that Sales material is in order
- Liaising with operations teams and Nosy Crow’s distributors, Harper Collins LTD, to ensure efficient processing of customer orders
- Analysing and reporting on sales data
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Would suit a Sales Assistant looking for their next role in publishing
- Very good organisational skills and ability to prioritise
- A very close eye for detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills plus the ability to write persuasive copy
- Experience working with sales data and Excel for sales analysis
- Experience of Powerpoint and Adobe is preferred
- Confidence in building and maintaining relationships both internally and with customers
- The ability to prioritise tasks and deadlines in a busy and fast paced environment
- Willingness to be fully involved in our busy and fun office
- A keen interest in children’s books
