A unique opportunity to spend the week with one of the fastest-growing children’s entertainment businesses globally… 

Moonbug Entertainment is an award-winning global entertainment company behind some of the most popular kids’ titles in the world. Moonbug’s line-up includes global sensations CoComelon, Blippi, Little Baby Bum, Oddbods, Little Angel, My Magic Pet Morphle, Supa Strikas, Go Buster, Playtime with Twinkle, Gecko’s Garage, ARPO and many more. Moonbug’s shows are currently available in 32 languages and feature on more than 150 platforms globally, including YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Sky, Super RTL, BBC iPlayer, HBO Max, Tencent, Youku and Roku. 

This exclusive, one-week work experience programme is designed to give 12 passionate individuals from under-represented backgrounds a behind-the-scenes look at the world of creative media! 

From meeting industry leaders to exploring the Music Department and animation studio, you'll dive into the world of motion design, gaming, and production. Plus, boost your CV and LinkedIn with hands-on workshops. Perfect for curious, driven minds eager to break into scriptwriting, music composing, animation, YouTube, the digital space, and more.

 

You’ll get the chance to hear from and shadow different departments in the business including studios, post-production, music, platforms and human resources. The week will include some of the following tasks/projects:

  • Creating your own YouTube channel and pitching the idea to the Platforms team 
  • Having a go at making your very own script and illustrations 
  • Creating your very own jingle with Moonbug's music director 
  • Hear from the gaming department and discover how you can kick-start your career in gaming
  • Participating in an HR workshop which will include a CV writing and LinkedIn session, as well as receiving interview skills training from industry-leading professionals 

 

About the week:

  • Dates: 25th - 29th November 2024
  • Timings: 10am – 3pm (including a one-hour lunch break) 
  • Location: 3-6, 2nd Floor, LABS Upper Lock, Water Ln, London, NW1 8JZ
  • What to bring with you: A positive can-do attitude, enthusiasm and lots of questions! 

 

Please note: 

  • You must be able to attend all 5 days of the programme
  • Lunch and refreshments throughout the week will be provided 
  • All participants will be able to claim reasonable travel expenses
