With specialist knowledge of film, television, literature, gaming, music, performing arts, destination campaigns, consumer brands, not for profit and most recently sport, Premier provides a complete creative communications solution.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Responsibilities<ul><li>Building and maintaining relationships and contact with media, clients and associates.  </li><li>Planning, running and reporting on small-scale press campaigns as allocated by the Directors and under their supervision. This will include media monitoring.  </li><li>Supporting press campaign work undertaken by the Publicists and Directors. </li><li>Managing, delivering or assisting with small social media campaigns if required. This includes the day-to-day running of the channels (copywriting, gathering and creating content and so on) as well as content planning under the supervision of the Publicist and/or Senior Digital Manager. This may include small design jobs in e.g. Canva.  </li><li>Dealing with requests for images, footage, press information, interviews and press tickets. </li><li>Live event support and attendance at events as required.  </li><li>Some flexibility due to the nature of the work, including travelling for work.  </li><li>Actively contributing to the company’s social platforms and website content. </li><li>Contributing to the smooth running of the Company’s day-to-day business as well as using and helping manage relevant tools as requested by the Company, e.g. Company calendar, media database, SharePoint/OneDrive, HiBob and so on.  </li><li>Occasional request for help with a campaign you are not directly involved in, if required.  </li><li>Contributing to general office housekeeping and office building housekeeping as required.</li><li>Attending regular check-ins with your line manager and an annual appraisal. </li><li>Any other duties within reason as requested by your line manager, campaign manager or the directors.  &nbsp;</li></ul>Not obligatory: &nbsp;<ul><li>Attendance at the Company’s social events or days away, organised and ad hoc. &nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;Knowledge, skills and experience<ul><li>Experience and passion for working within arts PR   </li><li>Experience of working on press campaigns  </li><li>Understanding of media and journalism landscape  </li><li>An excellent communicator, verbally and in writing </li><li>Good at collaborating as part of a team  </li><li>A positive attitude in their approach to all tasks  </li><li>Impeccable attention to detail and is extremely organised </li><li>Is proficient in Microsoft Office programmes  </li><li>Knowledge and experience of social media and influencer engagement</li><li>Ability to prioritise and manage several tasks at once, and work to tight deadlines</li></ul>&nbsp;Remuneration, benefits and holiday entitlement:<ul><li>Salary bracket: £23,000 - £26,000 per annum, paid monthly</li><li>Working hours: 35 hours per week, 9.30am to 5.30pm – occasional evening and weekend work required, flexible working available as agreed with line manager&nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>31 days holiday annually pro rata (includes Scottish bank holidays) + 2 over Christmas</li><li>Responsible to the appointed Publicist or Director&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;Please with your CV and cover letter quoting Assistant Publicist (Scotland) in the subject.Research shows how marginalised groups of people may not apply for jobs unless they meet 100% of the qualifications.
